Butcher Stan

When i was a kid my Mum used to get her meat delivered, from a butchers shop in Scholes to our house in Goose Green. The butcher's name was Stan, but I can't remember his surname. Anyone remember him or the shop?

I don't remember the name Stan but John the Butcher used to deliver from his shop in Scholes

Shop-lad maybe? Been pondering and I think the butcher's name might have been McCloud - not sure if that's spelled correctly?

I remember John from Scholes Precinct, he was very popular with the locals and would go the extra mile for his customers, if they wanted a particular item, he would get it for them

Yes TTS his name was Connolly sadly he passed away a few years ago
